PS: iPHONE 3G USERS, READ Today, Sep. 8th, APPLE RELEASED iOS 4.1. I HAVE HAD IT FOR A WHILTE BECAUSE I AM A DEVELOPER, BUT APPLE SAYS IT SPEEDS UP THE 3G MODEL. I DO NOT HAVE A 3G TO TRY IT ON. Also 3GS users should just go to iOS 4.1, because there isn’t to many reasons to JailBreak in my opinion. But once again, this does work, and you choose what you want. I think the thing he left out in this video is that you have to download and install libusb.pkg on the mac and then go through the process as explained here. It works exactly as he said in the video. I have downgraded 2 times before using a iRecovery Hack through Terminal.app but this recboot.app is awesome and easy to use. Hope this helps you guys out. iOS4 for the 3G sucked. Once the custom firmware is built, sn0wbreeze will ask you to put your device into DFU mode, once done open itunes 10.2 Step 4. Plug in your device and hold shift while clicking restore in itunes, then select the custom 4.3 restore for your device and let itunes do it’s thing! step 5. Once the restore is complete cydia will crash so close itunes and there will now be a new folder called “iBooty for 4.3″ Open it and run iBooty.exe Step 6. Once it boots up you are done!
